Nirvana Kuti ligt in Kathmandu, op 2,5 km van Swayambhunath en 3,5 km van Tempel van Swayambhunath. Good facility with plenty of solar powered hot water, clean, well situated at the center if Kathmandu, away from the more touristy Thamel, very safe. A genuine Nepalese experience in a great neighbourhood. I stayed February/March 2025 and only left because it was fully booked beyond the dates I initially booked. Im hopeful its available next trip! Bobby owns and operates the place and made my stay awesome, picked me up from the airport and took me to many places it would have been difficult to arrange to go to; showed me all the essential shops in the area (theres a great convenience store downstairs) and gave me many tips on how to navigate the city's peculiarities. Het Dondrub Guest House ligt in de wijk Boudhha in Kathmandu, op 800 meter van de Boudhanath Stupa, een van de heiligste boeddhistische plaatsen van Kathmandu. The room and toilet were clean and odorless, the mattress was firm enough, and the pillowcases and sheets were so white that I couldn't bear to dirty them! Breakfast was provided and nutritionally balanced. The hotel itself was clean and tidy, with a Buddhist temple and a small park for meditation and walking. It was about a ten-minute walk from the Mangwan Pagoda. I would choose this accommodation next time.The most important thing is that the hotel has air conditioning, so you don't have to worry about being overheated in the summer.

ROKPA Guest House ligt in Boudha, Tinchule, op 200 m van de Boudhanath Stupa en het Sechen klooster. Er is gratis WiFi in de hele accommodatie. Een hele mooie centrale plek om te verblijven. Ik heb genoten. Met een fantastische afsluiter tijdens Diwali waarbij de jongeren gingen optreden. Wat een fijne en liefdevolle mensen! Ik kom graag nog eens terug🫶

Zen Nest Hotel ligt in Kathmandu, op 3,1 km van Tempel van Swayambhunath en 5,1 km van Pashupatinath. The owner and the staff were incredibly helpful and very welcoming. They were always ready to answer questions and give directions and even recommended a good restaurant and timing for momo. The owner also helped me to book the tourist bus without charging any commission. The room was simple but very clean and well-maintained. I love my short stay here. I will definitely reserve a stay here if I ever visit Kathmandu again.

What you see is what you get and that is great! Simple straightforward rooms in a nice and quite street close to all the beautifull squares. The manager is a wonderfully kind man who speaks perfect English, we stayed two nights more because we liked it so much. Good hot shower and everything is very clean.
