Great location for getting to the ski field and close to local activities and eating places. Heat pump effectively kept the room warm. Close and dedicated parking for each room. Great shower pressure and temperature. Appreciated having a toaster, microwave, and kettle. Great communication from the host/owner.

Nice quaint place and very charming. Warm rooms with comfortable beds. All good, no complaints. The staff was friendly and there is ample parking.

It’s a great location to get to the crossing (if weather permits!) staff are lovely and there is a lot of kitchen space. Climbing wall if that’s your vibe. It’s a bit basic in terms of other kiwi hostels but good value for money.

The premises was just what we needed. We were in National Park to do the Tongariro Crossing so needed a quiet place close to where we would catch the shuttle. The hosts made lunches for the Crossing so we did not lack for anything during our stay.

Very welcoming and helpful man at the reception. Was great walking into a nice warm unit. Everything you could need for either a long or short stay was there. Was great having a washer and dryer available. Loved the décor. Parking undercover and room for the bikes was great, as well as a bike wash area. Great spas. Great location, and very quiet considering how close we were to the main road.

Our best accommodation in New Zealand. We got great coffee, fresh tomatoes and thyme straight from Marlene's garden. And speaking of them, Marlene and her husband are great hosts and deserve all the best. Great rooms, cozy living room, full kitchen and a fireplace heater.
