Great hospitality, very good typical food but the best attraction is the location . This mountain village hotel is literally like a real Omani ancient mountain village , with the rooms “carved” in the mountains. Inside the rooms are very nice , beautiful and the sensation is a kind of a typical experience. Of course don’t expect luxury and opulence but the rooms are really very nice and comfortable ( the bathroom is in a separated place close to the main room but you can just adapt it and of course this is totally understandable in a authentic mountain village hotel). It was chilly outside but the configuration of the bed inside the room and the blankets didn’t let us feel uncomfortable. Breakfast was also good enough and the owners ( real local Omanis proud and nice guys) made all the effort to make our stay unforgettable. Unfortunately we just stay one night because of the time constraints. And the short hike in (sunset time) and out (sunrise time) was also very nice with great views of surrounding scenic mountains. The relation between price and experience for me is totally fair and worth it. Please don’t let the reviews that are criticizing the price keep you far from this experience because , in my humble opinion, it seems to me that these people weren’t aware about the place that they were supposed to go. Just one little advise , ask the hotel staff about the details of the bath and the shower work because are a little tricky to understand it. I and my wife just have good memories of this experience and we are very grateful to the hotel guys for the hospitality.

With 1 bedroom, this spacious air-conditioned guest house features 1 bathroom with a hot tub, a bath and slippers. Towels and bed linen are featured in the guest house. The property has an outdoor dining area. Room was spacious, had a great layout and desing too. It had an outdoor grill and pool to go along with it. The host was fantastic and super responsive, makes you feel warmly welcomed to cold mountain range.
