From the moment we arrived, we knew we had found a gem! The location could not be better – easy parking right by the property, just a pleasant stroll into town, perfectly situated for exploring the entire island, and conveniently close to a large supermarket. We always felt completely safe here, which added so much peace of mind to our holiday. The cleanliness is simply impeccable – everything spotless and fresh, every day. The entire place is beautifully organized, with a layout that makes it feel both spacious and homely. The kitchen is especially well thought out: each room has its own assigned table, cupboard, and set of plates, utensils, and cooking items, which keeps things wonderfully neat and easy for everyone. And then there is Catarina – what a host! She is truly the heart of this place. Warm, sincere, and full of genuine care, she puts her soul into making her guests feel welcome and valued. She visits daily to tidy and refresh the common areas, replace the flowers, and, more often than not, surprise guests with delicious homemade or local treats. She is thoughtful, adaptable, and always ready to help – whether it’s offering great local tips or simply checking in via message to see if we needed anything. We felt so looked after and appreciated her kindness enormously. The property itself feels like a peaceful haven – quiet, comfortable, and infused with warmth and charm. Everything here has been designed with the guest’s comfort in mind, and you can feel the love and pride that goes into it. We travel often, but this stay will remain a highlight for us. If you’re looking for a spotless, perfectly located, safe, and beautifully run accommodation with a host who truly cares, look no further – this is the place! We would return in a heartbeat.

Solar dos Cantos Botanic House & Garden se encuentra en Ponta Delgada, a 13 km de Pico do Carvao, y ofrece alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, jardín y salón de uso común. Beautiful renovated house, full of history! Related to the Botanical garden of Ponta Delgada, which is right next door. The rooms were very comfortable and cozy. Staff was friendly and helpful. We spent New years and the views to the bay and fireworks was unbeatable! We would definitely come back again 😊

Nicely done, good location (convenient for whale watching trips from Ponta Delgada), fully equipped kitchen with free tea, coffee, snacks and fruit, big room and comfy bed.

Olive Boutique Guesthouse está en Vila Franca do Campo, a 5 min a pie de Praia do Corpo Santo y a 9,3 km de Lago de Congro, y ofrece alojamiento con wifi gratis, aire acondicionado, piscina al aire... Very good communication in advance of my stay. Located in the middle of the island, about 1/2 an hour's drive away from the airport, a logistically convenient starting point for all excursion on the island. Secure and free parking places at the port about 500m away. Freshly converted guest house with around 6 rooms in the middle of the town. Everything is functional and very tastefully decorated. Perfect fast WiFi, sockets, AC, small fridge, open wardrobe and great shower. Had quiet room facing the inner court. Nice pool, but didn't use it. Breakfast of very good quality and quantity. Different types of rolls, toast, croissants, local cheese, coffee tabs from Nestle, egg dishes upon request. I loved Maria's omelet ;-) Overall, an incredibly friendly, warm and communicative young lady, I enjoyed the time and conversations with her! PQR very good.

A beautiful apartment. Modernly designed and well-equipped. Resides in a magical, historical estate. Excellent location in Ponta Delgada. Superb breakfast. Hosts were very kind and helpful.

Vila Rosario se encuentra en Ponta Delgada, a 8,6 km de Pico do Carvao y a 17 km de Lago de las Siete Ciudades. Nice, spacious and comfortable room. Warm welcome on arrival and throughout our short stay. Dedicated parking area. Nice selection for breakfast. Excellent value. Would stay again.

Casa-do-Mar se encuentra en Madalena y dispone de jardín, salón de uso común, terraza y wifi gratis en todo el alojamiento. La ubicación, el desayuno, la limpieza y la amabilidad de la dueña. La cercanía a la zona de viñedos y a las piscinas naturales de Madalena. Lástima que, por temas organizativos, solo pudiéramos alojarnos una única noche.

DMCharme, que tiene salón de uso común, terraza y vistas a la ciudad, está en Ponta Delgada, a 12 km de Pico do Carvao. The owner was extremely pleasant and gave us loads of infos about everything we'd need and ask for. Didn't have that feeling of positivity from a host, in a long time. The bed was huge and very comfortable, everything was 'grand', from the lobby to the bathroom
