You don’t feel like guest, but returning friend. It’s old building with modern facilities, everything what you can expect from hotel. What makes difference is dinner, go for it. It’s cooked with passion and accompanied by local wine(s). You meet everyone who is there - place isn’t big, just 8 rooms. You mingle, get to know new people and enjoy atmosphere. And food is delicious, and not same every day according to those who spent few nights there.

They went out of their way to make our check in, stay and visits to the vineyard as convenient as possible. Eduardo also especially arranged a pick up and drop to and from the Pinhao railway station as he was available at the time and at a minimal fee. The place was beautiful and clean. We got to taste the Portuguese traditional cuisine for dinner and breakfast was good with plenty of options at the buffet.

The room was very well maintained and the decoration was wonderful. Exactly as per the photographs and very very clean. Lovely welcome drink & pastry, with drinking water also in supply. Breakfast was served in the attached cafe downstairs, felt really nice to dine at a place where lots of locals call in for their morning coffee's & treats. Staff were very friendly & helpful. Perfect spot for access to the river & wine region.

Picked oranges from the tree in courtyard each day, fresh and delicious. Daniel was wonderful, when google maps got us lost about 5 iminutes from the property, we called Daniel and described where we were, he came in his car to guide us to the property. Spent a morning hiking amongst the vines, terrific views.

I had an excellent stay at this hotel! The room and common areas were very clean and well-maintained. The owners are incredibly caring and always go above and beyond to assist with anything you need, making you feel truly welcomed. The room itself was very comfortable. Additionally, the convenience of having on-site parking made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!
