The staff was wonderful, especially Sonia on the front desk. No request seemed to phase her. She organized a tour of north eastern Maderia that was wonderful. The hotel is in an excellent location in the centre of the old part of Funchel, near the Municipal Gardens.

Prachtig verblijf met fantastisch uitzicht. We kregen een warm welkom van Sabrina en in de kamer stond wat lekkers voor ons klaar. De kamer was schoon en het ontbijt was prima met voldoende keus. Er was voldoende parkeergelegenheid bij het verblijf.

Host was really clear in the instructions and willing to help with anything we needed. The house is really spacious and clearly well taken care of. The hot tub is a nice touch. The shower was perfect. We want to mention how grateful we are for the flexibility of our host, with a special request of ours... It really helped us out when we needed it. Would recommend this place to stay at. Kitchen well equipped, coffee machine was nice, fridge was nice and big.

S A L - Beach Apartments Caniçal is gelegen in Machico, op 5 minuten lopen van Praia Pedra d'Eira, en biedt uitzicht op de stad. Great place with all necessary staff for travellers. A lot of cafes and restaurants just in a few minutes walks. Pedro is a super friendly and active host, who gave a plenty of local recommendations and directions. Coffee machine with the capsules did my mornings happy)

Cozy House bevindt zich in Funchal, op 5,4 km van Marina do Funchal en beschikt over een tuin, een bar en uitzicht op de zee. Wonderful house. The house is on the smaller side, but you can find everything you need. Nice bathroom, comfortable bed, airconditioning etc. Also there are two terraces that are enable you to relax and bask in the Madeiran sunshine. The accomodation is very clean and is well stocked with shampoo, shower gel, coffee, tea and fruit. There’s no inside kitchen, but outside there is a barbecue and a dishwashing station. The owners are very friendly and helpful. We were also surprised by Nelson as he gifted us fresh fruit like bananas and Madeiran custard apples. The house is situated in a nice, hilly neighborhood of Funchal. It’s about a 2km ride from the nearest main road exit or reachable by bus. It’s about a 10 minute drive into the city center and also about a 10 minute drive to be in the middle of the nature. Highly recommend to stay here whilst being on Madeira.

The outside area is super lovely and has a great view of Machico, the kitchen is super large and there is loads of room to store all your food. On top of that Fátima is just the nicest person! The room is rather small but the big outside and common area make up for it.

Sunset House in Arco da Calheta biedt accommodatie alleen voor volwassenen met een tuin, een gedeelde lounge en een terras. Prachtige locatie, vanuit hier kan je de zon onder zien gaan (als het niet regent en bewolkt is) en een regenboog zien verschijnen. De kamer was ruim, er waren 2 badkamers, woonkamer en een grote keuken waar je kon koken. Er waren verse eitjes.
