The staff were friendly and really helpful. Whether it was to clean up or assist us with opening our room after we forgot our keys, they were very ready to assist us. I will definitely book again as the location is extremely ideal as its close to restaurants and transport services.

The dorms not being bunks really added to the homey feel. I kept extending because I was so comfortable. WiFi works well, shower is good, room is spacious, bed is comfortable, staff are friendly. Orchid home is a bit outside of the main roads, yet very close to everything (Koh tao is a small island). June & Lei are the most amazing, caring and attentive hosts I ever had. The whole environment of Orchid home feels like an ancient palace with a relaxing, calming and almost meditative vibe to it. I stayed in both, the bungalow as well as in one of the rooms in the main building - both were super comfortable with an uncomparable vibe to it. The rooms where clean and prepared, but as it is Thailand and a traditional building style, dont expect sterile luxury resort environment. Ask the staff regarding lunch or dinner - they cook vegan food on godlike level. One of my favourites was the very upstairs yoga & meditation room.
