Hue organised a very good early morning tour of the floating market, fruit garden, noodllefactory and Cai Rang market for me and another couple. The tour lasted 6 hours and was by small boat. Very good value. Justin arranges motorbike tours of the local area. They rang the bus company when I wanted to leave and arranged for the shuttle bus to pick me up from the main road, Justin waited on the road with me to make sure it arrived. I would highly recommend Chill Guest house.

After the initial activity-packed 3 weeks in Vietnam, we decided for something different, so we chose the Eco Lagoon to relax before continuing on to Cambodia. And it was different, having a couple of restful days, spending more time around local communities and with the friendly Eco Lagoon team. The accommodation is spacious, comfortable, clean and quiet. Chau was always there, in attendance should we need anything, or at the bar to prepare refreshing drinks, glad to talk with us in order to further improve her good English. Đau helped with our luggage, chef Ye-Ye prepared a delicious Cobia fish for dinner, and the young artist Phong (Fau) readily drove me on his motorbike to a nearby clinic to disinfect my wound when I stepped on a screw in the street. Phong is graduating at the painting arts academy, he is voluntarily helping out at the Eco Lagoon (owned by Peter, his mentor and an accomplished artist). We also enjoyed together a fresh seafood barbecue at sunset, prepared by Jimmy, who has a makeshift bar at the nearby beach. Jimmy actually goes with you on his bike to the street market where you choose and buy fresh fish, shrimp, squid, oysters… of your choice which he then prepares for you, on his little charcoal grill on the beach.

Complete with a private bathroom fitted with a shower and slippers, all units at the guest house have a flat-screen TV and air conditioning, and some rooms include a balcony. The units will provide guests with a wardrobe and a coffee machine. Hosts and staff were very welcoming and friendly throughout our stay. Large, comfortable, quiet room.

At the property, there is an in-house traditional restaurant serving lunch and a selection of vegetarian options. Everything! Very big room, clean, quiet, good positioning. Better than a 5 star that I stayed also in Phuo Quoc.

They will do all they can to help you out and make your stay comfortable. Room and lobby are nice and clean. You can't go wrong if you choose Queenie house.

Located in Phu Quoc, Canary Bungalow offers beachfront accommodation 200 metres from Long Beach and features various facilities, such as a garden, a bar and barbecue facilities. This guest house offers free private parking and a shared kitchen. The accommodation provides free WiFi throughout the property, as well as a terrace and a family-friendly restaurant. The staff is super attentive, the location is in perfect walling distance to the beach, and the room was quite comfortable. The Bungalow is family run, and it clearly shows that it's a labor of love. The family's two dogs hangs out around the place, and are both super cute and well behaved. Unfortunately, we experienced some sickness on our trip (not because of the bungalow), and we ended up spending a lot of time in our room. When we were better again, the staff was very helpful in arranging a boat tour for us. You will unlikely not find a much better place, even if you spend a bit more than here. Honestly, they could charge a bit more, and I would still be happy with the value. With that being said, the room does need a little more light, like a lamp by the bed, as you right now need to have all the lights in the room on at the same time, which is a bit much.

I always wondered how it is possible. Now I know. We stayed with our kids a week at Ngoc Qui Bungalow, and really felt the warm family atmosphere there. People are so nice! The food is truly the best we had on the island, and the location is just great to go to the beach.
