Mike was an exceptional host always asking if everything was ok(in a good way) also answered most of our questions we asked for the area .The location was awesome lots of bird life ostriches,flamingoes to even otters visiting the garden in early hours of morning .also perfect fishing hot spot.Nice and peaceful for some quietness away from the city life .we even took a walk from river tides accomodation along the river towards port owen for sunset photos .will definitely recommend!

The stylishly decorated lounge has a cozy fireplace an opens up onto a spacious verandah with magnificent views. Everything!!!! The guest house is just above the beach. The view of the beach is stunning! We had sea views from our rooms from every angle! There were sunbeds right outside our rooms, close to the pool. We received a warm welcome on arrival and the place is spotless. The decor is very tasteful, old world mixed with modern. We had coffee/tea making facilities in our rooms. Breakfast was delicious and so beautifuly presented! The bathrobes and our bed linen turned down for us were just another added touch! I highly recommend The Oystercatcher's Haven!
