Great space arrangement within the house - very spacious living room + 3 bedrooms downstairs allowing for privacy as well. And teenagers loved the mezzanine! Very nice and calm neighbourhood. We could really enjoy the vacations, with nice time on the beach and great trips to Budapest, Visegrad and Esztergom. A lot of great moments to remember 😉

The apartment was beautifully kept , cosy, warm and in a quiet area. I noted another persons comment about dogs barking in the neighbourhood but that’s because it’s a residential area and people own pets . It didn’t bother us at all . We also liked the area because it was out of Budapest and a short walk to the train station if we chose to visit. I honestly think we picked the perfect place for both city and the suburbs. We will definitely return. At the time of booking , a one way ticket to the main station in Budapest took 45 minutes and cost just over one British pound, one way.

I really liked that the property was clean, new, and thoughtfully prepared. The host paid attention to so many little details — there were almost all the essentials in the kitchen, a great selection of coffees and teas, plus some extra touches like syrups, chocolate powder, and cute mugs. Everything you might need for a short stay was there. The same goes for the bathroom — there were shampoos, conditioners, and extra bits in case you forgot something. I also loved the selection of oils for the sauna, the separate towels for the jacuzzi, the blankets for the sauna, and the robes to walk comfortably back to the house.

Excellent location. Nice and tidy rooms. The hos is super! He is a fireman and he showed the the fire truck to my son! We even got to try the siren! And he took us for a free boat tour at the Danube.

Excellent location and friendly hosts. The lodge is equipped with everything you need for your stay, though no oven. Shops are a bit remote but if you arrive by car it is only a 5-minutes journey. Plenty of parking space in the front garden. Hiking trails are almost on the doorstep of the lodge. Local people are nice, we felt welcomed anywhere we went.
