I very much enjoyed my stay here. I spent 2 nights before my jungle trek and 1 night after. I booked the 2 day/1 night jungle trek with them as well. I actually think that is the only way you can stay at their guesthouse, so they ensure that their trekking clients have accommodation. Communication with the manager, Dedycool was faultless, from the time i made my initial inquiry to when the driver picked me up at the airport. The room was spotless, the bed and pillows were some of the most comfortable I've had in 5 months of travel, and the AC did the job. The staff could not have been more welcoming, both upon arrival and every time I came for a meal or returned from an outing. The location outside of the village ensured a peaceful nights sleep. I enjoyed the 30 minute walk to the center, allowing me to see people going about their daily lives. The jungle trek was phenomenal in every way. Both guides, Edwin and Janet, were professional and got excited when we saw orangutans (we saw 7). The food both at the guesthouse and on the trek was very tasty. The trekking was challenging but not overly so. It was fun scrambling up hillsides using vines and roots as foot and hand holds. The camping was much more comfortable than I expected. The camping mats were thick, and the lightweight sleeping bag was just right for the temperature. The rafting back to the village was super fun and a great way to end the 2 days in the jungle. I'm very pleased with my decision to book through Sumatra Orangutans Treks.

The location is fantastic, the host is fabulous! direct access to the lake for swimming. 2 bedrooms, atlhough in the description it looks that there is only one, but there are 2. Do not hesitate to book! The house is very clean also. We had a great time here!

On other day we were guided by Byke and Fahid into the depths of jungle looking for orangutans, which were kindly enough to greet us from the trees on a stretched hand distance. All in all it was an excellent idea to book that place, don’t miss the opportunity to live amidst jungle comfortably.

Very nice owners. Mineral water at your disposal at all times. Big open spaces to enjoy as a family, and very nice and clean rooms to enjoy quiet times. The patio is charming.

Un poco alejado del pueblo pero se puede llegar con un bonito paseo por el lateral del canal y el río. Asniar, la anfitriona, nos organizó un trekking por la jungla que fue espectacular. Vimos cinco orangutanes y más animales salvajes. Sin duda una experiencia que siempre nos quedará grabada. Los desayunos y las cenas, hechos por la dueña, estaban muy buenos. Sin duda, recomendamos el lugar.

We highly recommend this villa. Would repeat again in the future 😇
