Seaforth
Facing the seafront in Seaforth, Cape Hillsborough Nature Tourist Park is a holiday park, boasting a year-round outdoor pool and private parking. This holiday park features a garden. The holiday park has family rooms. Location was perfect, close to the beach for the dawn mingling with the wallabies and kangaroos. Two hand-raised kangaroos wandering around the campsite during the day as well. Reception staff were friendly and efficient and offered great coffee and pizzas. The staff talk at the beach with the wallabies was interesting and informative. Animals were kept to a marked off area and only fed with pellets to help their digestion - no hand-feeding by guests. The whole experience (sunrise, communing with wallabies) was magic. This was my second visit. The rainforest walk, a short drive away on the other side of the cape, was beautiful, and well negotiating a few potholes in the road.

Montville
Nestled on 16 acres of grounds, Montville Country Cabins offers self-catering accommodation alongside a small lake. The cottages are situated adjacent to Kondalilla National Park, just 5 minutes' drive from Montville Village. Only a few minutes out of Montville, but you feel like you are far, far away from the rest of the world. It's beautiful and so peaceful, and I felt like I could stay there forever. The view of the mini- lake, complete with lily pads and frogs, from the bedroom and living room was wonderful. Absolutely recommend 100% if you are looking for an escape. I think it's particularly suited to romantic escapes! The owner/ managers take excellent care of you without being even slightly intrusive. Hot, fresh baked croissants hung quietly and unobtrusively on your door every morning for breakfast! So many thoughtful little touches in the cottage, including a freshly laid fire ready to light! And you don't even notice other guests! I particularly loved how many birds were on the property, whipbirds, kookaburras, currawongs, butcher birds, frogmouths (I saw 4!) Yellow tailed black cockatoos, sulfer crested cockatoos, pale headed rosella, ibis, doves, ducks to name a few... It's perfectly located to explore the sunshine coast hinterland, but if you were so inclined you could never leave the property for your whole stay! Just a note for anyone trying to work on holiday, there's no wifi and certain mobile sim cards will drop in and out of service, just as they do in the whole hinterland area. I'm not putting this in the category of things I disliked because it was not important to me.
Great Keppel
Just a 2-minute walk to Fishermans Beach, Great Keppel Island Holiday Village offers free snorkelling equipment, paddle boards and BBQ facilities. It offers a range of accommodation options surrounded by nature. The Holiday Village is really beautiful just a few meters from the beach. I loved the close proximity to where my friends were staying at the Caravan Park, and everywhere else in the township. The facilities were great even tho because of the weather I didn't get to use the swimming pool. The rooms were well equipped and comfy and especially the bed which was amazing.
Fantastic value for money, great family holiday resort.
The swimming pool and kids club to keep the kids entertained. Friendly and helpful staff.
The resort/apartment was perfectly situated to the patrolled beach, coffee shops, public transport and only about a 15-minute beach stroll to the entertainment centre of Surfers Paradise. The apartment itself had everything we needed from comfortable sleeping, dining, lounging, tennis court, swimming pool, sauna and spa to direct access to the beach. Our view of the sunrise was terrific to say the least. Safe and secure entry/exit and parking
The refurbished bungalows. The main swimming pool. The wallabies. The coca chu restaurant. Great individual staff (front desk and in restaurant)
Clean, cute little bungalows. Tennis court, swimming pool.
Amazing holiday park! Nice swimming pool, coffee truck in the morning and food trucks every night with different food. It is a walking distance from the city center but if you don't like to walk there is a bus that stops in front of the holiday park. I definitely recommend this place!!
