This place exceeded my expectations. I stayed in a cabin and was delightfully surprised by how clean it was. Everything felt brand new, the beds were super comfortable, and the hot plate meant I could cook a proper meal. The pool was lovely for a dip and the park is right next to the Marina so it's great for watching sunsets. It's also a very short walk into town.

NRMA Bowen Beachfront Holiday Park is within a 5-minute drive of both Bowen Golf Course and Mullers Lagoon. Airlie Beach, a departure point for cruises to the Whitsundays, is a 1-hour drive away. We rented a beachfront cabin, so we were able to see the ocean from our room, bought bait onsite and did a little fishing off the fenced wall right outside our door. Not sure on public transport, but glad we had our car to get to shops and explore Bowen and surrounds. Cabin was comfortable and clean and a good size for 3

Each villa and apartment is air-conditioned and features a kitchen with a microwave, stove and tea/coffee making facilities. All linen is provided. The location was beautiful and nice and close to most things. The staff were so lovely as well as the people there. The air cons in the cabins were absolutely beautiful especially for how hot it was outside, they got so cold and kept us extremely comfortable. Massive shower was stunning as well as free wifi and a big tv which made each evening of our stay wonderful.
