Each private cottage comes with a fan and a private balcony which offers views of the surrounding greenery. It features an en suite bathroom, mosquito nets and toiletries. It also has a seating area. Some of the best diving in the world. Staff were very friendly and the food was plentiful a good. Accommodations are above basic.

Located on Bunaken Island along the Pangalisan Beach, Cakalang Resort offers diving and snorkeling opportunities on-site. It has a restaurant and a 24-hour front desk.

Fan-cooled bungalows come with free Wi-Fi and feature garden and sea views. Tea/coffee-making facilities and an en suite bathroom with shower facilities are available. It's a hidden gem!! Superb environment, great facilities like the pool, the food, the cleanness and size of the rooms or bathrooms, exceptional and friendly service by local staff and top quality dives. Since the first minute when I was welcoming, till the last minute to say bye bye... Top notch. Highly recommended, it's a place to repeat.

Set on a mountain with views of natural scenery, Gardenia Country Inn is a 10-minute drive from Tomohon Traditional Market. Enjoying a peaceful location, it has a meditation pavilion and a hiking trail. The property is just gorgeous. It's big, so you can roam around seeing the views towards the volcanoes. It's full of flowers everywhere, and there are tons of wild birds that visit the place, so it's a great place for birders and photographers. The area looks more like a park or garden, just beautiful. The restaurant area is very cozy, and you can easily spend a few hours relaxing on the terrace. We also liked the staff, always ready to help and assist you. The manager is very friendly and communicative, with great insight into the area and local costumes. The cabins are spacious, clean, and comfortable , with great views from the front terrace. They are located on the edge of the property, so they have a lot of privacy.

Housed in hill-facing wooden cottages, the basic rooms are all equipped with a satellite TV and mosquito net. Private bathrooms come with running hot and cold water. Some rooms have a minibar and fridge. A fantastic option near Tomohon: a very spacious house with good internet, and the staff allowed me both early check-in and late check-out.

Full-board Indonesian and western meals, water and tea/coffee are provided for free at the open-air Seafront restaurant.

Spread across 2.5 hectares of tropical gardens, the wooden bungalows are simply furnished with a fan. The private terrace enjoys views of the sea and reef. En suite bathrooms are equipped with shower facilities. If you are after tranquil and quiet, off-grid rest this is 100% the spot. The hosts and staff are lovely. Full board meals delicious and packed with goodness. Ive not experienced such deep rest in many years. If I won the lottery I would totally ask to buy one of the seafront bungalows to stay permanent. Simple living in the most glorious spot. Snorkeling is also so wonderful. I hardly want to tell about it, in fear to many people know. Its wonderful.
