the staff were friendly and very nice and helpful. the food was great, an English breakfast very good. the room was big and clean, the bathroom was very nice and clean, the wifi was very good, i could work very well and i didn't have problems. also i could watch netflix and it was good.

AustraliaPerfect location in the old town, lots of restaurants nearby, the castle is a short walk up the road, the breakfast had a good variety (it does get a little busy at about 9am), the beds were comfortable and the room had just enough space for our family of 4. Staff were lovely at reception, very welcoming and friendly.

The breakfast is a buffet where you can find croissants, muffins, all different types of drinks, eggs, bacon and sausages, to summarize a full breakfast. They do vegetarian options as well. The staff was very helpful. If you drive to the hotel, there is a parking nearby. There was a daily discount offered by the hotel. We found it fairly quiet, even with the window open, although, if not, there's double glazing and air-conditioning. We wanted to be in Leith; so, the location was perfect. It's a little way from the centre of Edinburgh but there is convenient, efficient and cheap public transport.
