The best thing was--I understand this is typical in hotels in China--there were two well-equipped landry rooms where guests could wash and dry clothes free of charge. Wow, this was a first! Free laundry in a hotel. Finally, the location was awesome. The hotel is located in the historic city center within the ancient city wall nestled between the Drum Tower and the Bell Tower. Across the street from the main entrance there is a convenience store and 2 or 3 small local restautants serving Xi'an's famous pork sandwiches and belt noodles. There are more upscale restaurants on the main avenue a 2-minute walk from the hotel.

Very friendly stuff, they did not speak english very well, but a little bit. Location outside the city center, close to some university campuses.
