Holiday Inn Rome - Eur Parco Dei Medici by IHG 4 stars
Magliana Vecchia, Rome
Located just 500 metres from Muratella Train Station, for trains to Rome city centre and Fiumicino Airport, Holiday Inn Rome is in the city's business district. It offers a swimming pool, free WiFi and a spacious private parking. We spent three nights at this hotel and it totally exceeded our expectations. Originally we planned for two nights but decided to extend our stay and even took a late checkout so we could enjoy the pool on last day of our Rome visit. After staying at a handul of other ”4 star” hotels in Italy as we were making our way south towards Rome, this is the only one that actually deserves all 4 stars. Pool in particular was great. Water was warm, pool staff very polite, drinks and food available in direct connection to pool area - it was perfect for 35+ C days while we were resting from sightseeing in Rome. Gym is also very nice, it’s not large but it has a decent rack with enough weights and dumbells as well as few cardio machines. We had two rooms during our stay and they were both clean and spacious but ”Superior” one was larger.

Rudy the manager and staff were great, if you r a camper it's fine however if the holiday Inn is slumming for u then this is not for u. the elevator was cool and don't forget to tip the maids they deserve it!

Romans know how to do it. Amazing site. Great breakfast. My girlfriend then flew to Frankfurt for the book fair and stayed in a Holiday Inn hotel which was more expensive then this one in Rome, with a shitty restaurant and after 15 days they have yet to return the deposit she was forced to pay for "security" reasons.

for me it was the best accommodation ever. the apartment is beautiful, stylish, cozy, big. distance from Termini station “5 steps” 😊 so beautiful and lovely details. communication in advance, on time and immediately. The hihglihts were prepared capsules for coffee, teas, pastries, butter, jams, milk and more.

Typical safe bet like Holiday inn. Big rooms though may need some bed renovation for less supple beds. Nice garden and 15 minutes to Fiumicino airport. Proximity to train station Muratella maybe 500 mtrs takes you into downtown of Rome with major attractions like Vatican , colloseum and also connects to metro if you wish to take.. I found metro a bit crowded and need to be cautious.

In general the rooms are like most of Holiday Inn, good standard, nothing extra, but good quality. Excellent breakfast, helpful staff.
