What an exceptional set up Richard and Evie have! Beautiful rooms and a stunning central drawing room/breakfast room that’s warm and comfortable. Richard and Evie are very warm and welcoming and know each guest by first name. Nothing is too much trouble. The bed we had was the best we’d had so far on our holiday and the breakfasts were superb. No hesitation whatsoever in recommending Glen Isla as place to stay if visiting Phillip Island.

Place was really nice and lovely. Also it has own story. Owner was very kind and friendly. Just 1 minutes walk to the wonderful beach and so close to other facilities.Absolutely here is one of the best place for weekend stays !!!

The stay was perfect. Clean and comfortable. Access to bbq and spa with clear instructions left for us on how to operate made it so easy! And our puppy Teddy loved the big garden to explore. Definitely would recommend and rebook!

Bernie was a lovely host. She shared a lot of helpful information about the area, such as dinner options and where to visit the following day. We had a great time on the island thanks to Bernie. The room was spacious and clean, and equipped with a powerful air conditioner and a huge bathtub. We had a comfortable night even though it was a cold day as November. The hotel was just 2 mins away from the Penguin Parade but also close enough to the town of Cowe.

We had a wonderful stay ! The cottage is lovely, very well equipped ( kitchen has more than everything you need ), very clean and so quiet. Alan was very kind and offered to transfer our bags over from the ferry. We would highly recommend this place if you love remote wilderness ( with lots of koalas and birdlife ! )but without missing out on the comfort when you come home from your walks.
