Dulces Sueños is a hidden gem run by the lovely family of Carmen, Rafael, and their daughter. It's hard to define what kind of accommodation it is, but I loved staying in their single room with a comfortable queen size bed. The house was built with Feng Shui principles in mind and features a pool and a big garden with fruit trees and flowers. The friendly pets, the dog Luna and the cat Killa, were a bonus. Highly recommended for those seeking a peaceful and close-to-nature retreat.

The room itself was good, but there was misleading information on booking.com saying there was a private bathroom. The bathroom is shared, or we were given a room with a shared bathroom instead of the one with a private bathroom.

We stayed in the wonderful Alsigal Cochabamba before and after our trip to Toro Toro. Our hostel hosts, Alfredo and Erika, were excellent. When we arrived Alfredo took out a map and gave us an overview of the city. Each morning they left tea, yoghurt and breakfast biscuits outside our room for us to enjoy. They helped to organise taxis and confirmed they were a fair price with the driver before we left. They looked after our bags when we went to Toro Toro, gave us advice on what to bring to Toro Toro and just generally made both our stays an absolute pleasure. The hostel rooms are comfortable, the showers are lovely and the general ambience of the hostel is tranquil and pleasant. The location is good and there are plenty of restaraunts within walking distance.
