Best place to stay in Hurghada. Everything is brand new, nice and clean. Bargain price, just 15$ for 3 person a night. Landlord was very nice guy, very helpfull.

Adam is your man in Hurghada:) Being a well-respected local he can help you with pretty much anything. He's also well educated and knowledgeable, he's been living in the EU and around, so he knows what suits representatives of different European cultures and offers exactly what's needed. And it's always nice to have a discussion with him in the evening enjoying dinner. He can help you with everything. If you need something from a pharmacy (and bear in mind that Egyptian medicine is reliable and cheap) he'll get it for you and they'll charge him less than they usually charge foreigners. If you want a tour booked for you, he'll activate his network to get the best and cheapest options for you. He can also buy stuff for you at the market, show you around, and cook for you. And he's a great cook! Breakfast is included, but he can also cook lunch and dinner if needed. And he cooks local stuff, if you'd like, so you can enjoy the cuisine. I can say that his dishes are better than some of those offered by several Egyptian hotels I've stayed at. This is my second time staying with him, and I highly recommend booking his place. It's just the right place to hang out waiting for your liveaboard or your flight and an optimal combination of price and quality. Of course, one can spend a night at the hotel, but then it's necessary to look for places to eat, and if you need to buy anything the locals charge you more since you're a "wealthy foreigner".

The mattress was super comfortable and the air conditioner was amazing. The hostel is a little bit apart from the very touristic area, so much nicer and quiet but very close if you want to go. The acomodation itself is highly recommended.

Yasser's house is not just an accommodation, it is an experience that touches your soul. Don't let the concept of shared appartement scare you, it is exactly what makes the whole experience so memorable. You'll have your own bedroom, your own bathroom and you'll share the kitchen/living room and terrace with Yasser. As you can see in the pictures, the flat is absolutely superb, beautifully and ingeniously decorated with a lot of care and love for detail, it is a dream in many shades of blue that will make you feel calm and relaxed. You'll have everything you need and you'll for sure be impressed how spotless clean everything is. The location within the Mangroovy complex and in El Gouna is perfect: a few minutes walk to the beach, about 10 minutes walk to the KBC Kyte Station, 10 minutes walk to the supermarket, a few minutes walk to a great Lebanese restaurant, about 15 minutes walk to Abu Tig Marina. And then, as I mentioned before, there is Yasser. Discrete, friendly, kind, open, he will give you just as much attention and assistance as you wish. He'll provide all kind of information and help you with kyting, book tours if you are interested. We greatly enjoyed the evenings spent together, watching movies or soccer, having long fascinating discussions that brought the heart of Egypt closer to our soul. I could go on writing, but I stop here saying: Thank You Yasser, it was an honour to be your guests, we can't wait to be back again.

Paula was super nice in all aspects, yes recommended us very nice place for eating, for small day trips in semi-submarine and snorkelling and also she cooked for us one day as it was Ramadan. The room was comfortable and very lightly and I felt like home when I stayed in the house! Thank you very much!

Having a freshly cooked Egyptian breakfast in the morning was amazing. We also shared a lovely meal of fresh fish for dinner and had some great conversation. It was really cool to walk to the market with a local and pick his brain about the goings on in the day to day life of the locals. Thank you again my friend! Hopefully I will see you again some day!
