JJ (owner of the house) and his family are the best. They are very friendly, wellcoming, nice and kind. Most of the rooms has a good vieiw of Nile. There is air condition in the room also an extra fan with remote control. The hotel is new so every thing works properly. They offer a free Nile tour to guests. Also they prepared a breakfast basket for me before i check out early in the morning. What can i say, it was really one of the best experiences in my life. Thanks for every thing

Our children absolutely loved the place, and we, as parents, truly appreciated the peaceful and safe setting. The homemade food is simply divine—full of flavors and made with love. The tranquility of this place is perfect for unwinding after a day of exploring. This guest house is brand new and undoubtedly the best place to stay on Elephantine Island. It’s wonderfully clean, welcoming, and authentic. If you’re looking for a kid-friendly spot to create unforgettable family memories, look no further. Everything: the location on the elephantine island was amazing, with view to the nile river, and next to greats restaurants. The bedroom was extremely clean and the staff was very friendly and kind. In fact they help us to take the boat and taxi to the train station at 4 am. 100%recommended

They are doing their best! They want you to feel at home - and for me it was a home for a week. The room is comfortable and clean, nicely decorated and has lots of hangers. Abu offers a welcoming fruit drink, free boat transfer, sunset trip and much more. He makes delicious fish tajin for dinner. Breakfast is very tasty and nutritious too. I'd stay there again. Highly recommended!

We stayed at La Terrace for one night. We arranged for airport pick-up for USD12 as we were arriving late. The driver dropped us off at the pier, we took the public ferry and the owner, Mohammed met us and helped us with our luggage to the hotel. Travel to the hotel was easy and not too much trouble. There are restaurants near the hotel as well which is quite convenient. Our rooms were clean, tidy and we had 3 large beds which were comfortable enough. Hair dryer was provided on request. There's also a terrace which you can sit at and enjoy the view of the Nile. The hotel met our expectations and is good value. We didn't have much time to explore the area, but we did go to a restaurant (King Jamaica) nearby which the owner recommended. Food was good as well. The real star is the owner. He was very responsive to our questions and helped us arrange for a car and driver to Abu Simbel and Luxor. He also recommended his contacts in Luxor and Cairo who helped us arrange a car, driver and guides for when we needed them. I would highly recommend arranging your travels in Egypt with Mohammed. We would have stayed for a second night if we could!

Our stay at Gamal Robob guest House was so perfect From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with open arms. DOHA AND HER FAMILY was so warm and genuine hospitality. The attention to detail was outstanding; our needs were not only met but exceeded. The staff was always ready with a smile, ensuring that our stay was comfortable and memorable.
