What a pleasant surprise! One of the few dog friendly places on our journey, stopped for one night only, with very low expectations , but we were impressed . For the price (44 euros / double room with bathroom + 10 euros for the dog) it was excellent : clean , smelled nice , clean linen and towels , views of the mountain , quiet , quaint village where dogs can be walked off the leash in the woods . Great service too.

Walking distance to the City, silent, super friendly and helpful. We stayed twice there, start of the Montañas Vacias bikepacking tour and at the end.

A 5-minute walk from Teruel Cathedral, Hostal Alcazaba features a restaurant and rooms with flat-screen TVs. It is within walking distance of examples of Teruel’s famous Mudéjar architecture.

I was in Teruel to begin a cycling trip and I was permitted to keep the bike outside my room as I was heading off before the hotel staff arrived the next morning. It was simply great value and an excellent location for the city centre.

Set in the charming, historic town of Teruel, Hostal Aragón is a 1-minute walk from the cathedral and Plaza del Torico. It features free Wi-Fi and rooms with private bathrooms.

Hostal Aragón is a very nice centric accomodation. The bus station of Teruel is accessible on foot in 6 minutes, all the major places of interest - the Mausoleo de los Amantes, the Teruel Cathedral and the Torico Square (the famous central square with lots of restaurants and cafés) - in 3 minutes or so. Perfect. On arrival, I was greeted by the most polite, kind and helpful gentleman. He made my check-in a pleasant experience, like everything else in the charming town of Teruel. The room is small, but with a big comfortable bed and very calm decor (adored the bed cover with romantic flowers), and though my window faced a narrow street, I could sleep sound with the window closed. The bathroom (in the same pleasant beige-pink tones as the room) featured a small bath. It was a pleasure to use it. Hot water and good pressure in the shower. I could really rest very well there. Size of the room. The bathroom and shower too. Large and comfortable bed. Quiet. There is a large shared kitchen with all the essentials. Easy to find and check-in & out. Free parking spaces within short walking distance (next to the station).

Everything. This is my favourite hotel ever. We stayed in it three days and nights - I'd booked for three consecutive nights separately, on three bookings I mean, because I'd planned to stay in the Parador de Teruel for two nights, and I'd really been looking forward to staying there and I was very reluctant to cancel. Fortunately, my friend had read reviews which said that it was very difficult to get taxis to take you to and from the parador and so - reluctantly - I cancelled two nights and very happily for us we got accommodation in the Fonda del Tozal. And no parador could've been more full of historical and architectural appeal, and no staff more lovely and helpful, and it was so perfectly located too. *And* such amazingly good value. I loved the woman (manager? owner?) whose office is full of historical artefacts and who told us about the history of the building, I loved the bar downstairs and the ... I don't know if he's manager or owner or both, but he's certainly a wonderful barman. He told us he loved being in the bar - playing great music [I love his taste in music] and talking to customers and making people happy. I'm very reluctant to write this review because really I'm not sure I want to share this with anyone, I want to be sure I'll be able to get accommodation when I return as I absolutely shall do. But it'd be selfish to keep this treasure to myself!

Good zone, very kind the owners even if there's no reception and all is done by message. We received very good recommendation. Very good for being the only option we found in Teruel.
