Everything! The view, the location, the room, the cleanliness, the tranquillity, the amazing breakfast, the best ever apple juice from the local orchard, the sweetness of the freshly squeezed clementine juice, the filtered water in the room, the personal touch, and the most wonderful host who's also the owner of this fabulous retreat. Highly recommended, and we would love to visit again sometime.

One of the nicest places I’ve ever stayed in, the hosts were so welcoming & helpful, the room was perfect, bed was very comfortable, and excellent facilities. Couldn’t recommend more. Also the area is lovely, felt very safe and very convenient for the short bus into town. Will definitely be coming back!

It was very clean and quiet. Great location to beach and town centre. Literally a 10 minute walk, and while homeward bound is a little up hill l, it’s not that bad. Also a great little pub across the road that does good meals. The ensuite room is on the 3rd floor, but not a big deal, unless you wanted to drag suitcases up. We just took up what we needed for the night. Bed was so fluffy and comfortable, we slept in. Both the hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely couple that are doing a great job of hosting. Even though there is no fridge in room, they have one on the landing for guest use.

Situated in Torquay, near Torre Abbey Sands Beach and Riviera International Centre, The Garway is a recently renovated property, featuring, a bar and shared lounge.
