We loved absolutley everything about this magical place! Right on the beach, next to a delicious restaurant and so cozy and homey! Couldn’t have faulted our stay at The Chestnuts, it was everything we’d hoped for. The owners Nick and Hayley were very warm and welcoming, and they have made a lovely accommodation. Very fresh and clean, and a great breakfast both days. Will be back in the spring when visiting family again.

The perfect place to rest. Peaceful, clean, has everything you need. Great location 5 min walk from the centre and the sea. I escaped the business in London to relax a bit, and this place really helped me to do so. The owner is very kind and tried to meet all my needs. You also have included a nice breakfast with different options. I went for the English breakfast and was freshly prepared at the moment. The single room on the top had a lovely compfy bed, a nice and clean bathroom, and 2 windows which is not obvious for smaller rooms like a single. There is also outside space where you can relax, have a drink. I am really happy with the whole experience, will come back. Shanklin is a beautiful town, and you can easily go anywhere from there with buses if you don't have a car like me. One of the bus stops (the coaster) it is just in front of the guest house.

Jody has been a great host. The service provided was really good. Jody allowed us the early check in and also kept our luggage the whole day even after check out. The breakfast served in the morning was excellent and tasty. The location of the property is also very good and bus stand is really closed by, beach is just a 10 mins walk away. Overall our experience by excellent. Would recommend for stay and will love to book again for my stay. Thanks :)

The home is great! Dan is a welcoming host, fun and enjoyable to be around. The house is equipped with every possible supply, from food to shower gel and all the way to vitamins and first aid kits. Breakfast feels like if it was done at your own house. I’d definitely recommend.
