For us it was an emergency stay due to road closures, but the host was extremely hospitable and friendly. It was not planned stay and our stay was just for waiting a better weather, however it was very convenient and nice place to stay. Facilities are excellent and everything was exceptional. The room was big enough with comfy beds. The whole place was very clean and there is a very well equipped kitchen with everything you need (coffee, tea, toaster, kattle, fridge, plates, cutlery, etc). The location is amazing with a great view to the lake.

Great shower and a comfy bed. I messaged the friendly host requesting an extra pillow and had it about 1 minute later! Altogether it was a great stay and I would definitely return anytime I am in Seydisfjordur.
