I don't even know where to start - the stay at Francesca's excellent Foresteria Villa Margherita was amazing from start to end! She is a very welcoming person and cares about every guest. It's a familiy environment which we absolutely adored. The pool and the view is stunning, so are the rooms. Very cosy, easy but with style, clean and large. I hope we can return this year again! the hotel is located in front of como lake with fantastic view in the morning. We had room with balcony so we had breakfast with lakeview. Staff was very frendly and even served us dinner as we arrived very late when they was closing.

The location is very good because the house is very near to the train station and to the lake. This was important for us because we travelled by public transport. The room was very comfortable. It was a bit warm at night but there was a fan what was very useful. Everything we needed for a few days stay was available.

We rented a double bedroom with shared space of the rest of the apartment. It was off season, so we had the entire place to ourselves - kitchen, bathroom, living room and a balony with lake Como view. Everything was immaculately clean! The kitchen had everything we needed for cocking and prepping for hiking the local mountains. If you arrive by car, be mindful that the parking is free, but around 400 metres up the street. Definitely will come back here!
