The host was exceptional and very warm. I was there for my birthday and the surprise cake they bought for me when I came home from a walk was an unforgettable moment. The location was perfect for exploring Jeonju. With my broken Korean language, the communication that we had was great. They helped me to find a good place to eat and to rent a beautiful hanbok nearby at a good price. Breakfast was perfect. I will stay here again if I visit Jeonju someday.

I WENT TO KOREA FOR 10 DAYS N I STAYED HERE IN JEONJU FOR ONLY 1 NIGHT BUT THE ROOM IS THE BEST!! SO PRETTY!!! AND GIVE ALL THE ANCIENT KOREAN VIBES!! AND THE SAJANGNIM IS THE BEST!!! WE ARRIVED AT ALMOST 10PM & I FORGET TO TELL HIM BEFOREHAND THAT WE ARE 5 PERSON BUT HE STILL BEING SO NICE AND TELL US WHERE IS WHERE WHICH MAKES ME FEEL VERY SORRY FOR NOT TELLING HIM EARLIER. HE GAVE US KOREAN BREAKFAST THE NEXT DAY N SEND US TO HANBOK RENTAL SHOP N WE GET DISCOUNT BCOZ WE STAYED HERE N HE ALSO HELPED US TO GET TAXI TO GO TO JEONJU STATION. ANYONE COME TO JEONJU I WILL DEFINITELY SUGGEST TO STAY HERE BECAUSE IT IS COZY, CONVENIENT, THE BUILDING IS VERY BEAUTIFUL AND THE OWNER IS VERY NICE.

The cozy atmosphere, location and staff. I was also delighted at an additional plug and many towels. It is located in the center of the Hanok historical village, so we were able to came back here often to leave items we bought. The breakfast is self-service. I found it is really comfortable.

Our first hanok stay was exceptional. The room is traditional, well maintained, and the location is perfect for a visit to Jeonju Hanok Village. Mr. Li the host comes from a local Jeonju family of generations - he is kind, friendly, and provided us with many local recommendations. I highly recommend Hanok Hyejum!

Owners are incredibly nice and friendly; pointed out a bunch of nearby attractions, got us settled in nicely, etc. After check out they held our luggage for us and then when we came back to get it to head to the train station, we were offered a ride in his personal vehicle to the station in lieu of taking a taxi or bus. Fantastic establishment overall for the hanok stay experience.

Most thoughtful, friendly staff and special touches including an arrival and leaving gift and a relishes breakfast of fruit, toast, orange juice and coffee. It is located right on the main hanok street but very quiet and peaceful. Room was immaculate and had all the facilities you would need including shower products and toothpaste. Futon bed was very comfy as well!

Located at the quieter part of Jeonju Hanok Village so everything is within walking distance. Very peaceful and quaint. Best part is the owner, who is super friendly and accommodating. Made the fun more relaxing. Room is small but good for a short stay. I went in the spring and it can get cold at night. Sleep isn’t the best if you’re not used to a thin mattress and bean bag pillow but it is part of the experience. As it a old-style hanok, just be aware that the walls are thin so you can hear the people next door quite well.

This place offers a rare opportunity to experience traditional Korean bedding. Even as Koreans, most modern lifestyles involve sleeping on beds, making such an experience uncommon. The accommodation thoughtfully provides a complimentary 10cm-thick foldable mattress to ensure extra comfort and support, which made our stay very enjoyable. The host sent all the necessary information to my contact before check-in, and although they were not staying on-site, they were always responsive and quick to resolve any questions or inconveniences. The location is unbeatable—right in Hanok Village, with all the major heritage sites within a 2-minute walking distance.
