The Hosts were excellent, I had breakfast and evening meals at very reasonable rates, I also had some laundry done overnight, it came back clean and dry (again at a very reasonable rate). The location was fabulous right next to the park - Note this property is in the countryside, its beauty but not many restaurants close by.... This was NOT an issue for me. I loved being able to view and enjoy the nature close by farmers walking their buffalo out to pasture and back home, the views from the roof top - I also went on a bird watch safari with the host which was excellent

We had a fantastic stay. We arrived and were warmly welcomed. Our room was ready and it looked great. We had a room with sea view. We were immediately offered a beer on arrival and in the evening the host prepared fresh fish, shrimps, chips and rice for us. One of the best dishes we've had in Sri Lanka. The accommodation is located directly at sea, so you have a lot of peace here. The host is very helpful and will make your stay comfortable.

We didn't sleep at the cabin because there was a problem with the booking but the host did everything to organise a place to sleep. We had 2 wonderful safaris on a motorbike and Danushka was an amazing guide with a lot knowledge. We could take a look at the cabin and it was a wonderful place with great view and a pond nearby.

Amazing property. Wish we had booked for longer! Great pool with lots of sun loungers and beanbags. Owner is also a chef. We had a wonderful breakfast and wish we had more time to experience his cooking for lunch or dinner. Were also very helpful arranging Yala safari for us ☺️

The staff is really nice and always available for any needs. They organised for us the safari with breakfast and water for a really competitive price. They also drove us from the bus to their house and from the house to the bus which we appreciated a lot. They really want for you to make the most of your visit (welcoming and good-bye refreshments, cold towel to freshen up when you arrive, good tips on where to eat and what to see). The room is confortable enough for us and quite spacious and the shower had good pressure hot water.

High attention to the guests of the hotel from the owners. The room was very clean. The food for breakfast and dinner was varied and tasty. Evening excursion to the lake with bird watching and flying foxes was very educational. We also really liked the morning safari organized by the owner of the hotel to Yala Park, we were lucky to see several elephants, two leopards, crocodiles, buffaloes, deer, various birds.
