This place is amazing, we went for couple of days and then travel around the country and finally we spent the whole month. Nice views in the rooftop, rooms are so confortable, the food is amazing, the best place we ate was there, better than any other restaurant around. They have a real 5 star chef in the kitchen. There is 1 min by walk to the best surf spot plantation, Chathu helps you with everything. Anything you need just ask him. And the staff, baba, ran malli, etc are incredible. They make you feel as you were at home. We left from this place after a month feeling that we now are part of this amazing family.

We had the most amazing experience at this homestay! From the moment we arrived, making us feel completely at home. Their warmth and care were beyond what we could have hoped for. The food they served, at such a reasonable price, was absolutely delicious—every meal felt like it was made with love. The location is perfect for anyone looking for a peaceful, quiet, and relaxed environment, away from the hustle. It’s truly a hidden gem for those who want to unwind. Whatever we needed, the hosts were always there to help, going above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable. We absolutely loved our time here and wholeheartedly recommend it to anyone seeking a peaceful getaway. This place holds a special place in our hearts, and we can’t wait to return!

I had a great stay at Calm Nature Resort— so good that I even extended my stay! The place itself is brand new. The facilities are great— there is a shared fridge and washing machine/clothes rack to dry your clothes. Plenty of space to park! The room itself had a ceiling fan, a double bed with mosquito net, a desk, plenty of space to store clothes and an en-suite bathroom. There is a big shared balcony which was our favourite place to spot monkeys in the trees, squirrels and listen to the birds in the morning. It’s a quiet piece of paradise and tucked away from the road :) It’s about midway between Midigama village and the beach (10 min walk or 2min scooter) There’s plenty of small shops along the road to buy most amenities— there is one just next to the house with definitely the best selection (would recommend!) Would like to thank the beautiful family of this place for having us, and for giving us such warm hospitality and so much great food. Would highly recommend this stay!!

The room seems very new and is very well equipped with a fan, table, chairs and a balcony. There is also a kitchen as well as a fridge which was nice. The stay is just a 5min walk from the beach and all the shop, yet you still have it very peacefull and quiet here. The host is super friendly and helpful, I would definitely come back.

I had a private room and enjoyed the shared, fully-equipped kitchen. The homestay is located just a short walk from the beautiful Midigama Beach. This place is in a great location. 5 minutes walk to Midigama beach and 4 minutes from the train station. The apartment is very clean and you will find everything you need for a long holiday. The hosts are very nice and very helpful. I highly recommend this place, one of the best, i've stayed in Sri Lanka if not the best for this price.

Great location if you are looking for a more quiet place to stay. Away from the main road, but still very close to the surfing beaches of Midigama and the restaurants (5 minutes walking), I originally booked two nights but ended up staying over a week. The room was very spacious, clean and comfortable. The family who own the property were amazing! Super friendly and helpful. One of the daughters is also a talented tattoo artist and has her studio at the property. Thankyou!

Dev and his family were great hosts and wanted to help as much as possible. The house is a 5 minute walk to the surf and village. There is a lovely outdoor area to relax and enjoy the peace.

Our room was clean, the fan was directly over the bed where you need it and the bathroom was nice. We had a big bed with a mosquito net and slept really well here. It was quiet over night because it's a bit away from the main road. If you want to go to the beach you are there in 5-10 minutes. The Host family was super kind and we could also leave our backpacks here for a bit after checking out. I would definitely recommend staying here especially for this price.
