What a fantastic venue, perfect for the memorabilia lover, lots to see in the buildings and a beautiful little cottage to stay in, loved it

We lost power at 4 am but still made the best of the situation.

Comes with a parking lot and it’s just a stone-throw to Lake Tekapo. Very cosy interior, suitable for family or big groups of travellers.

Josephine was an incredibly helpful host! She was really kind and welcoming which made us feel very at home and taken care of. The room was great as was the location.

The room was clean and everything looks brand new, there was hot water, fully equipped kitchen and free parking. Make sure to read the instruction for opening the unit, we had no issue with it.

I had an amazing stay and experienced the best customer service at this hotel . I made a last-minute booking at Te Manawa Lakeside Garden. I just needed a place to stay for a night before I headed back to christchurch from a hiking trip. Booked the last room available with a double bed at a reasonable price of $208/night. Great location, only 2-3 minute drive from the town center and Lake Tekapo, The room I got was cozy, very clean and tidy ,includes a Tv, fridge, microwave, toaster, dinnerset, and varieties of teas and a nespresso coffee machine. and received some freebies from the hotel as well. The bathroom was clean and well maintained, and the water pressure of the shower was perfect. Aside from the room's A/C heat pump, the bed also has an electric blanket, which was just perfect for the winter season. Jerry, the receptionist who welcomed me, was extremely nice and friendly and very accommodating, I just wanna send my biggest appreciation to Jerry for going above and beyond with customer service. hours after checking out. I missed a few calls from the hotel's number, and then I received a text from Jerry saying that I left my Beanie in the room I stayed in. I told him I couldn't come back to get it because I was already traveling and I dont know when I'm gonna return to Tekapo. Jerry asked for my address and sent my Beanie through the post. I can't thank him enough for sending back my favorite Beanie, which was a gift from my mom. Truly appreciate the unexpected kindest gesture. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Tekapo.
