Very unique place to spend a night. It is enchanted indeed. It was such a delight to stay there. Attention was paid to every detail. Our host Lisa was very friendly and helpful.

Beautiful, peaceful, idyllic location right by the water at Queen Charlotte Sound. We enjoyed walking the last leg of the famous Queen Charlotte track, which was a wonderful, relatively easy track offering superb views. Jumped off the jetty for a swim in the sound and within 2 mins having a hot shower at the apartment. Tanya and Shayne could not have made us more welcome. They clearly enjoy sharing their piece of paradise, and their enthusiasm is addictive. Very comfortable bed, great shower, well equipped kitchen, peaceful sleep. Don't hesitate to book and stay as long as you possibly can. You won't regret it! We've stayed in some gorgeous places in the South Island and this one was our favourite. Friendly, homely, comfortable. Tracee was very welcoming and hospitable - provided anything we asked for and more (fresh fruit from the trees in the garden, a lift to the ferry, lots of lovely chats).

Beautiful little place to stay! Rosie was great with communication & very friendly when we arrived. It was bigger than we expected & only a super short walk to the water front. It's a great spot in a beautiful location.

We liked the house so much that we would have stayed for 2 months instead of 3 nights. It is an extremely quiet area, between fruit trees and vines. The house is spacious, beautiful, and the terrace where we had breakfast was wonderful. The bed was very comfortable, everything was very clean, the kitchen was spacious, as was the bathroom, which even had an outside door. It is a perfect location to visit the wineries in the area or Kaikoura. The owner is a distinguished person, very kind, with whom we were very pleased to talk. We warmly recommend this location!

What a hidden gem! This place is like no other accommodation I've stayed in. Incredible view of the mountains and water. Beautifully designed with a lovely deck overlooking the bay. Felt like glamping with a wood cabin vibe but all the bells and whistles including your own hot-tub, spa towel and bath robe. Such a lovely stay here.

The house has plenty of living space, a large garden area around it (and cute sheep neighbours!) while being within 5 minutes of walking to the waterfront. The bedrooms are classic, while the bathroom and modern kitchen and living area feel more recently renovated and were light and spacious. We loved how easy it was to enter, we appreciated the heating options, and overall loved our stay here.
