I don't know where to begin. We had such a rough start to our trip to Phong Nha, when the bus we had originally booked on 12go scammed us and we were stranded in a bus station in Hanoi. To our luck, Gem the homestay host messaged me ahead of time earlier that day asking to message if I needed any help, and I definitely needed her help. She was amazing, she got us bus tickets to Phong nha within 10 mins of messaging and this bus dropped us off right at her doorstep. She didn't even take payment from us until we arrived at her homestay. In the morning, we woke up to a beautiful homestay location, her beautiful family and all the puppies! Gem and Tuan took care of us, taking us to Paradise Cave and even the Duck Stop with their own vehicle, and we had the most delicious food in all of Vietnam at their restaurant during lunch and dinner. When we told them our entire bus experience, they offered us a private car to Hoi An as that was our next destination and Tuan drove us himself the whole 8 hours. To say we are thankful is an understatement. We've met a lot of people during our many adventures, but they are the kind of people that stay close to heart even when the adventure is over. We still think about Gem and Tuan's kindness and hospitality towards us and we hope our paths cross once again some day. It was the shortest leg of our trip in Vietnam but by far the most amazing day we've had. Message to the hosts: thank you for everything. We hope we'll see you and your wonderful family again someday. We are telling stories of you to all of our friends and family and we cherish everything you've done for us. The Hill Villas was a very comfortable stay! The host’s hospitality here is unmatched. He offered to pick us up in town on a few occasions and always had such a kind and friendly demeanor. He gave great suggestions for things to do as well! Very good value and highly recommend!

My girlfriend and I had an amazing time here. Hung and Viet (the two brothers) are very professional, friendly and serviceminded. Their family makes amazing food. The atmosphere is great, relaxed and social (if you want it to be) They helped us a great deal getting transportation to and from the hotel and helped us book a cave tour.

Moon and An An are great people, super helpful for tours and naturally very friendly and enthusiastic. While I was staying here, they invited all the guests for a family dinner. What a kind and generous gesture. The homestay has also a cute and peaceful vibe, with great view. Moon and An An really made my stay in Phong Nha an unbelievable experience. The owner was a charm, he waited for us at 4 am when our sleep-bus arrived and in the morning he prepared a breakfast that was spectacular (I still dream of that banana pancake). In addition, he was in charge of getting us a motorcycle for the next day His family and he were very kind whit us. The perfect room with all the necessary comforts.

    Dat and his family are such great hosts. They made sure we had everything we needed and were so attentive. The place itself is in a perfect location and you can rent scooters or book tours through Dat. It has a lovely courtyard, the rooms are comfy, and the highlight for us was the beautiful pool with the most amazing view. There weren’t many guests when we stayed so we had it to ourselves for hours, it was bliss! Definitely recommend this homestay 🙌

    An An Homestay was wonderful. An An and his wife were great hosts, we had a family dinner which was delicious. They were a great source of information for sights to see locally. There is a great area for hanging out and relaxing and it is set in a beautiful peaceful location in the race fields. I would stay here again :)

    Lovely host family- the view from the property is lovely, by the river so a nice place to walk/ cycle. Went on an amazing cave tour from this homestay . Bed was comfortable, and clean. The family collected and dropped us to our bus.
