We had a great stay at this guesthouse. We picked it because it looked to be a bit off the beaten path and quieter, and it certainly delivered on that. The location was stunning and absolutely perfect for hiking - it sits right next to a smaller trail up one of the mountains, and a short (10mins) walk to the Valbona - Theth trailhead. The rooms were very well fitted, clean and comfortable. The host was extremely attentive and helpful, going above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of during the stay and in helping me retrieve a lost item after. Would highly recommend.

The building itself is beautiful. The views around, the location, it's all lovely. Sure, it's somewhere in the middle of nowhere, but it's a beautiful nowhere. Everything was clean, spacious, and the family, they're all lovely people. Even if they don't speak English, they find a way to help you. I had dinner there as well, and the food was good and came in a very large portion. They fed me like I was part of the family.

The guesthouse is not only set in an idealic setting at the base of the mountain with spectacular scenery, but it is moments from the trail. The owners were extremely helpful and kind. Dinner and breakfast were both amazing, and as farm to table as you can get, down to the honey and cheese, made by the owner. I was in a room with three single beds. My room shared a modern, clean washroom with another bedroom upstairs. Staying at this guesthouse, meeting the owners and enjoying the meals has been a highlight of my trip to Albania. I wish I had stayed longer!
