Great value for money. The host family is super friendly and they have an amazing kitchen. Both breakfast and dinner is excellent. Location is also nice, you can hike around or take a car and go to near ski fields like Murau / Lachtal. I would definitely come back!

We stayed there 2 nights on a ski excursion to Lachtal and Kresichberg. It was a perfect choice. Fantastic hospitality by the owners, friendly and helpful atmosphere, lovely alpine location. I had read some mixed reviews before booking, and while I chose it for its excellent location, I approached it with some reservations. The retro design of the place is indeed notable. I found myself pondering whether keeping the original hardwood furniture and bathroom tiles from the 80s could be seen as a form of sustainability. One highlight was the breakfast, which featured delicious fresh bakery items and perfectly boiled eggs—definitely a treat! Unfortunately, I had a mishap on the first day and broke my arm. After returning from the hospital in the evening, I was exhausted and hungry. I appreciated that my Wiener schnitzel was cut by the waiter immediately after it was served, and when I expressed a desire for something sweet, the staff kindly made Kaiserschmarnie for me, which was a lovely gesture.

I liked how big the room was, and warm, and how kind the owner Sven and his wife were. They did anything you asked them to do. And the food was amazing. I had Austrian food and Thailand food, and so did my wife, because Sven’s wife is from Thailand, and it was one of the best Thai food I ever had.

Very nice location - close to slopes, a beautiful view (forest), very nice staff, parking space, and a bar. The room was spacious, with enough space for everything we needed. Bathroom was fine too. Everything was clean and cleaned daily.

Pension - Bauernhof is situated in Sankt Lorenzen ob Murau and has a pool with a view and quiet street views.

I liked everything! :) We came for the F1 race and stayed at this place. The owner was incredibly kind and hospitable – she gave us a very warm welcome upon arrival and took the time to show us around. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was fresh and delicious. Communication via Booking.com messages was also quick and easy. A truly charming place – I highly recommend it! :)

The place was really nice, the room was big, clean and very comfortable. My doughier liked everything because car, horses and other animals were available there. We stoped for one night, but really think to come back at least for one week! Place is highly recommended!
