You couldn’t wish for better hosts and room/ garden / kitchen facilities / location and maybe I was lucky but all the other guests ( maximum of 12 ,at a time ) were amazing people . My 10 days were making great new friends , very kind and genuine people seem to gravitate to this beautiful hotel . You will see monkeys in the trees and wake to their howls & the bird life and that’s it , no road noise , leisurely coffee and breakfast then onto your day :) Absolutely faultless , highly highly recommend . Papito even baked some pan for us at arrival. The location is beautiful, surrounded by greenery. The room (including kitchen) is very well equipped. We felt comfortable and at ease. The pool was clean and well-maintained. Great place to enjoy Costa Rica.

It felt like an oasis on the edge of the hustle and bustle of the delightful town of Tamarindo. It was so relaxing and refreshing to come back to rest and relax at the Suite La Orquidea. Everything my wife and I needed to enjoy our visit was provided by our hosts, Mariela and Sergio. The pool was always clean, and the outside courtyard surrounding the pool was like a botanic garden. We felt secure, safe, and well looked after. Sergio made sure we knew where there were good restaurants and the best grocery stores. All around, this was one of the most relaxing places I've stayed in.

A real treat and the best facilities we have had so far in Costa Rica. Would recommend highly if you are looking for a place to relax and explore the area. Everything you need is close by and if there is anything missing, the hosts are available at all times and happy to assist.
