One of the best hostels I’ve stayed at. The owner, Gonzalo, really puts his soul into this place and you can see it in tiny details like night sky projectors in every room. I will happily stay here again if I come back to Puerto Viejo.

The accommodation is in a very quiet and pleasant area, but still close to everything. It’s easy to reach, and the ocean is just a short walk away. The room was very clean and well-equipped with everything I needed. The host was extremely kind and helpful throughout my stay. I would definitely stay here again!

Dicht bij het strand, in het dorp en toch ook rustig. Hele lekkere en behulpzame bakker naast de locatie. Jammer dat we de host niet zagen, maar was via mail heel erg betrokken en gaf heel snel gestructureerde info. Een fijne overnachting!

The best host, very kind and helpful. We loved the frogs that live around the accomodation and can be seen early morning. It's definitely worth the stay, even the accomodation is close to the highway which is little loud during the night.

Jungle Beach Bungalow with AC & Fiber optic ligt in Puerto Viejo, dicht bij naar Playa Cocles en op 2,5 km van opvangcentrum voor jaguars, en heeft een balkon met de tuin, een tuin en een terras. Rustige plek achter een grote poort waar we de auto veilig konden neerzetten. De keuken had alle voorzieningen aanwezig met een grote koelkast. Ruime kamers met comfortabele bedden.

De Cahuita Inn biedt accommodaties in Cahuita en heeft gratis WiFi en een terras. Gasten kunnen in het naastgelegen restaurant, Pizzeria Cahuita, genieten van een maaltijd. This accommodation was right on the water. At breakfast you can enjoy a myriad of bird species while enjoying your meal. it is a quiet property with howler monkeys and sloths. The restaurant attached serves a great selection of wines and delicious foods. Great value for your money! We very much enjoyed our stay here 😁

The location was perfect for visiting the Cahuita National Park - and also close to other amenities like grocery stores and restaurants. Everything was within 5 mins walking. The host was amazing - she provided a lot of local information including best sites and shops. She even knew the 'usual spots' where sloths would hang out. Thanks to her advice we saw sloths and even kinkajous in the evening. Rooms are cozy and have everything you need: AC and hot water.

Elisa and her mother were wonderful hosts! Extremely friendly, have great local recommendations and made me feel welcome as part of the family straight away. The house is very peaceful and a great place to relax, with easy access to Playa Negra, several local bars and a short walk to the centre of Cahuita and Cahuita National Park. You can see numerous animals in the surroundings (I saw a little Capybara 🥹). Casa Aldirica is a fantastic place to stay and I would whole-heartedly recommend it! Pura Vida 😊

Pachamama Nueva River side Bungalows Punta Uva is gelegen in Puerto Viejo, op 3 minuten lopen van Playa de Punta Uva, en biedt accommodatie met een tuin, gratis privéparkeren, een terras en een... Amazing location right in the forest, but close to the road and walking distance to beautiful beach. The house had everything you needed. We were able to see many animals from our terrace. Amazing! Would definitely come back.
