The coffee tour was excellent, very informative. The staff were very warm and friendly and making sure we had everything we needed and knew how to get there the best route. The house was very comfortable, the one we had had 3 beds, one in a private room. It seems rustic but the bathroom is modern and the live edge table and counter are very en vogue. Amazing views from the 3 huge windows to see all around you including toucans in the morning.

We really enjoyed the setting of our room in the jungle where the rustic outdoor kitchen connect us to the nature . The bedroom and bath look out to the forest. The shower with 3 different heads was great. The place was built 6 years ago by European couple, Cat from France and Phil from Germany. The decoration of the lodge was very relaxing and comfortable. The swimming pool was a great escape for the hot humid weather. We also enjoyed meeting a white nosed coati, a vulture and a group of squirrel monkeys in the backyard. We woke up by all kind of sounds from animal kingdom ..... We appreciate that the hosting couple went out their way to welcome us with good fruits and assisted us.

What a lovely, interesting little Casita! Beautiful light, comfortable bed, absolutely marvelous host, and a stunning cook as well! Just be prepared that you will access the house via a steep gravel road just slightly outside of the main part of Santa Elena. It's good to have an SUV with good ground clearance in Monteverde and this is no different.

Offering an outdoor swimming pool and just 100 metres from the beach, Casa Aba Matapalo is located in Matapalo. Free WiFi access is available. Amazing location a minutes walk from a beautiful undeveloped beach in sleepy Matapalo. We had the most wonderful experience on arrival. Almost instantly we saw an Iguana on the roof of the neighbouring room. A capuchin monkey did too and chased the Iguana around the roof before the Iguana jumped off into a hedge! Going downstairs we then saw two slothes in the trees, before heading to the beach and seeing a troop of 50+ monkeys. Was our best nature experience in Costa Rica!! Lovely large room with good facilities too. Highly recommended

Lovely grounds, view of the ocean from the pool deck Well equipped kitchen with good pots & pans and knives. Liked that the cabinets had doors or baskets Plenty of space inside and in shared grounds to hang out, read, nap or work Loved the covered porch, rooftop deck, and private outdoor shower Friendly staff Have recommended this place to others already

Surrounded by lush vegetation, this family-run establishment is located just 1 km from Montezuma, in Costa Rica. The manager Mercedes was very helpful and genuinely seemed to care about her guests (she stood out in the rain waiting for us to arrive on the first night). Her activity recommendations were great and she helped us navigate the tides and told us how to go see a baby turtles release. She helped organize a surf lesson, which we enjoyed. The welcome booklet was helpful. The casita was comfy and cute and the pool was inviting. The water was hot, plentiful, and safe to drink. The restaurant next door was delicious! It was a 5 min drive to town and close to the main road, so it was easy to get to. We didn't notice too much road noise. They allowed us to store our bags for a few hours after we checked out. If we come back to Montezuma, we'll stay here again.

Loubnan is such a lovely host and did everything to make us happy. There is a big community area with a kitchen and a fridge. Perfect to stay a few days and explore the beautiful Osa Peninsula.
