It's a wonderful old building, and so much thought was put into the traditional decoration, this is one of those rare places I could have called my home . The room was spacious, the communal kitchen with fridge very well equipped, the bathroom clean, and the communal room was cosy. I would have loved to sit by the fireplace on a cold night (but it wasn't cold). Quiet location but still very close to the bus station and the centre, and on top of that, Roberto is a great host. What can I say? It's perfect.

They prepared us dinner one night which was great! The house is super cute and clean, love the view to the lake. The town is safe to walk I'm at night. Make sure to go to Bambu Grill. Great place to eat.

The daughter prepares a delicious breakfast, and the son brought us hot water bottles in the evening. Patricio even drove us to the nearest bus station to Quito. Muy recomendable!

A great location for visiting Otavalo, which outside of the famed market, was rather drab. Some reviewers have complained that the steep hill was difficult to drive up, but my driver made it up with an old car.
