Room was spacious and super clean and breakfast was sufficient with a good variety. Coffee and tea (and hot water) was free and available up to 11pm and it was possible to store food in the fridge.

The guest house is 400 metres from Barcelona's Plaza Universitat and the Rambla is 10 minutes’ walk away. Nice little hotel, single room is on the smaller side but that was expected from photos. Quiet at night, comfortable bed, close to metro Sant Antoni and Urgell. Felt safe to walk alone late at night. Some very nice places to have breakfast or dinner within 5-10 minutes walk. What really surpassed my expectations were staff members. Very friendly and welcoming. Thank you! :)

All rooms at the Ciudadela are heated, and there is a TV. Most rooms have a work desk and a private balcony. Perfect location.. away from the chaos, but in the heart of the Born district and right next to public transport links. Communication was brilliant despite there being few staff. Accommodation was spotless. Our bathroom was separate to the bedroom but this was no issue at all. Great value for money and will 100% stay again!

The host was incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive – he changed our towels and made sure we had everything we needed throughout our stay.
