Friendly and helpful staff at check-in and check-out, which is much better than places that have no staff at all, and rely on impersonal on-line communication and remote access to the premises. Loved the breakfast, which was included and served in a small, attractive dining room, with an attentive waiter on hand to make coffee and serve us. Appreciated the staff arranging a taxi to the airport, and another carrying our bags downstairs when the taxi arrived Beautiful spacious room in a grand old building, comfortable bed, air conditioning, luxurious shower room, lots of closet and storage space, view from the port-fenetres, quiet at night. We will return!!

Situated in the L'Eixample neighbourhood of Barcelona, Hostal Aslyp 114 offers free WiFi and features a shared lounge with flat-screen TV and satellite channels. Plaza Catalunya is 2.8 km away. Continental breakfast was perfect with a good selection. Location was quiet with easy access to the shops and sightseeing.

Hostal Olga is located on the Costa Brava seafront in Sant Antoni de Calonge. Rooms with a private balcony and sea views. The rooms at the Olga feature simple décor. Very clean and chic. Staff were extremely warm and welcoming. Great restaurant. On the beach!

Our hosts were wonderful and very genuine, and very kind people :) The premises itself is so unique, and was very REAL. It is not often you can stay in a 2000 year old building. Highly recommend if authentic is your thing :)
