We especially liked the original plank floors. Lunch on the edge of the river was one of our best meals ever. We could have spent several days enjoying the park. If you're biking the Loire River trail (like us) this is a must stay. You haven't fully experienced France if you haven't stayed at Le Relais de Mantelot.

Eugene and I cannot thank Stephane and Gaultier enough for their kindness, hospitality and superb accommodation. It was like being greeted by your favourite friends after a long journey. The attention to detail in comfort and design was exceptional . A perfect marriage between French finesse and contemporary class with a generous helping of creative personality. The heated pool welcomed us on arrival with a cold glass of wine and beer. The restaurant reservation overlooking the Loire with a hot air balloon ascending was magical . We slept on a cloud of linen with a superb breakfast selection of local and homemade fayre but then discovered the car air conditioning wasn't working so Stephan introduced us to a wonderful mechanic who took all the panic out of our next 5 hour journey as the heat rose to 37 degrees. A fantastic start to our adventures in France after a longggggg time .

The property is non-smoking and is situated 5.1 km from Château de Chenonceau. It was a lovely place to stay. It is out in the country a bit, with nice grounds and easy parking. The owner and her daughter always went out of their way to exceed our expectations. For example when we ordered some wine, they made us a picnic outside to enjoy it. The daughter speaks English.

This property offers access to a terrace, free private parking and free WiFi. The homestay features a hot tub and a shared kitchen. The home is very beautiful and the hosts were the best! They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, while also giving us our privacy. We had a lovely room on the third floor with a gorgeous view of the river and a very comfortable bed. We awoke to a delicious breakfast of fresh chocolate croissants, bread and apple juice all purchased by the host before we woke up. We also had delicious honey harvested by their neighbor as well as several homemade jams.They live in a darling small town with several restaurants and a gorgeous church. It was all PERFECT!!! I forgot to add that there is a beautiful rooftop jacuzzi!!!

It is situated 7.1 km from Château du Clos Lucé and provides a shared kitchen. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a sun terrace. We rented a family room. It was really spacious, decorated with care and perfectly clean. The beds were really confortable and the sheets especially soft! For breakfast we purchased some pastries from the bakery nearby and ate in the little garden with coffee from the kitchen, a perfect start of the day!
