This property is a historic canal lock keepers house on the edge of the Loire river and a big park, so you can't have a more authentic room. Host and chef Fillipe takes it to another level with his hospitality and cooking (verify days of week for meals other than breakfast). Our room was large and comfortable with exceptional views. We especially liked the original plank floors. Lunch on the edge of the river was one of our best meals ever. We could have spent several days enjoying the park. If you're biking the Loire River trail (like us) this is a must stay. You haven't fully experienced France if you haven't stayed at Le Relais de Mantelot.

Belle Fontaine está en Bourges, a 11 min a pie de Palacio de Congresos de Bourges y a 1,2 km de Museo Esteve. It was a beautiful setting and the room was gorgeous (loving the fabric on the walls). Emmanuel was pleasant and extremely helpful. Fantastic location, would definitely return.

It is out in the country a bit, with nice grounds and easy parking. The owner and her daughter always went out of their way to exceed our expectations. For example when we ordered some wine, they made us a picnic outside to enjoy it. The daughter speaks English.

The home is very beautiful and the hosts were the best! They were very friendly, helpful and accommodating, while also giving us our privacy. We had a lovely room on the third floor with a gorgeous view of the river and a very comfortable bed. We awoke to a delicious breakfast of fresh chocolate croissants, bread and apple juice all purchased by the host before we woke up. We also had delicious honey harvested by their neighbor as well as several homemade jams.They live in a darling small town with several restaurants and a gorgeous church. It was all PERFECT!!! I forgot to add that there is a beautiful rooftop jacuzzi!!!

The place was very aesthetic, clean and organized perfectly. There is a big kitchen highly equiped. Next door there are boulangerie and minimarket. The street is very quiet and the is a chateau park near by.

The host was very welcoming, and the dinner and breakfast were really good. She even brought some toys for my three-year-old daughter, which was so thoughtful. The room was very clean, comfortable, and cozy.
