Gave us an excellent recommendation to visit Troyes which we did and enjoyed it. It is an interesting property in a renovated farm house. Very small village with not much happening for tourists. Local bar was friendly but again no English.

I hate impersonal hotels but marvellous 'B&B's' like this make a journey so much more fun. Thank you so much.

The rooms are spacy and beautifully decorated, there is airco, the host is very thoughtful and available when needed, good breakfast, there are EV charging points... easy to recommend!

VILLA NOTRE DAME face au Château fort está en Sedán, a 27 km de Golf Abbaye de Sept Fontaines y a 23 km de Castillo Fortaleza de Bouillon. Very close to the Castle and the centre, beautiful environment, fantastic terrace, comfortable, very nice French breakfast and very agreeable hosts ! I loved it and whenever I come back to Sedan I will stay there ! Florence was a very nice hostess and I loved how she organised her terrace with all her plants and lemon trees and how she is such an animal lover ! Big up to her goats, Hortense and Jade and to her cats and wandering squirrels ! Thank you so much for this short but great stay !

Breakfast was cooked fresh for the four of us and it was excellent. It was delicious, and there was so much of it. We learned the story of perte de pain "Lost Bread" which we call French toast in the US. We had a champagne tasting the evening of our stay which was informative and delightful. Our hostess shared the story of their family champagnes which was such a treat.
