Guests can make use of outdoor furniture if they wish to dine or sit outside. My stay was perfect. I’m an American that came to Scotland/Skye for a week to hike and see the beautiful country. I was greeted by my host, Hector, after a long day of driving and delays. I was provided with my own small fridge with snacks, a kettle for tea/coffee, dishes/cutlery, all the little things one may need. The hallway had a microwave, toaster, other snacks, another fridge with shareable items. Any dirty dishes I had were cleaned and replaced on the counter in the hall for me to bring back into my room later. A massive bonus for me personally was the small fan since I usually sleep with a fan at home. The room had a skylight with a blackout shade in it so I could sleep without being woken by the sun. The bathroom had a towel warmer, which felt like a luxury since they aren’t standard in every home in America. Hector was super sweet and even gave me a little Highland coo figurine when I left.

If you look closely, you will find little "Easter eggs" in the apartment. The host responded quickly to our questions. As for the location, it is close to a supermarket, so you can conveniently buy everything you need without having to travel long distances. We also liked the decorative design of the room. It was designed with a clear purpose in mind.
