This was the best place we stayed during our road trip in Scotland (out of seven different hotels). Our room was super spacious and cozy, beautifully decorated in a modern style — everything felt brand new. The bed and pillows were incredibly comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep. Service at both reception and breakfast was flawless: warm, friendly, and always with a smile. Breakfast itself was fantastic, with a wide variety of freshly cooked, delicious options. I can’t recommend this place enough!

The location is perfect near by the train station, the type of room selected is enough for a family, the place is very quite and nice, there is play ground for the kids inside & outside with a lot of option. The owner of the place is very hospitable.

El Glenfern Guest House and a separate Cottage with its own private hot tub & Cottage ofrece alojamiento en Balloch y cuenta con WiFi gratuita en todas las instalaciones. Estuvimos solo 1 noche de pasada, pero fue una estancia muy placentera. La habitacion y el baño estaban muy limpios, buena ubicacion con servicios a poca distancia. Pudimos dejar nuestro coche en el parking ubicado en el patio trasero. A pesar de haber estado muy poquito tiempo, puedo decir que es muy recomendable y definitivamente volveremos la proxima vez que estemos en las inmediaciones.

Just exactly what we needed to rest from our long walk. Comfortable bed with good pillow and linens. Cute restaurant across the way for dinner and breakfast. The host met us and showed us to our room, which was very nice.
