I received a warm welcome when I arrived and had parking reserved for me on the drive. The hosts has thought of everything I might need for my stay including fresh milk and things for breakfast. The space was clean and well-presented. It was the perfect base from which I could visit friends who live locally and I’ll definitely be back again.

Broccoli Bottom dispone de instalaciones para deportes acuáticos y está en Oakham, a 35 km de Estación de tren de Leicester y a 35 km y a Belgrave Road. The location was ideal for our cycle trip around Rutland Water. We only stayed for two nights, but found everything to be very satisfactory to enable us to do all that we wanted. On recommendation we enjoyed excellent meals at the nearby Horse and Jockey. The accommodation was warm; the big bed was very comfortable and we appreciated the lovely hot shower. Tom was helpful in downloading a map for us for the cycle route. As we left Parsnip Place, we planned a visit to Stamford, which was a huge mistake because there was a big fair taking over the town and it was impossible to park. However, we returned to Rutland Water and visited Barnsdale Gardens - stunning - don't miss it ! Although we had had a coffee and snack earlier in the tea rooms there, after our garden tour, we took our picnic along the shore at Whitwell and we were fortunate to have warm enough weather to enjoy an hour there before our journey home. We packed a lot into our short stay and found Parsnip Place an ideal location - it met all our needs.

Beautiful double en-suite room es un alojamiento con jardín que está en Oakham, a 40 km de Belgrave Road, a 40 km de Estación de tren de Leicester y a 41 km de Universidad de Leicester. The room was very well prepared and the couple managed the stay efficiently with lots of local information and facilities available. They were very friendly on arrival and made us feel welcomed throughout. They were also able to answer minor queries by text which was helpful.

Jubilee House está a 32 km de Estación de tren de Leicester y a 32 km de Belgrave Road, y dispone de wifi gratis y salón de uso común. Jubilee House was perfect for our needs, meeting up with family. There was ample accommodation for the 6 of us. We ate in and we also ate at the lovely pub 50 yards away. We needed two car parking spaces, so one of us had to park on the road, which worked out OK. The town itself is lovely, and we also went bike riding and the Aqua Park at Rutland. Highly recommended.
