The units are equipped with heating facilities. We loved the area - the mansion is surrounded by mountains and plains, and the view from the balcony is breathtaking. The garden around the mansion is also lovely, with cute and happy dogs guarding it. The tranquility of the place is something that we will remember for a long time. The bed was really comfortable, and the room was cozy, with all facilities one might need. Small kitchen was stacked with all the necessities. Ioanna was a wonderful host. It's a perfect place to stop and relax on the way between Athens and Central Greece.

Located in Galaxidhion, Galaxidaki 1857 guesthouse is a historic guest house that provides free WiFi, and guests can enjoy a garden and a terrace. The property features garden and city views, and is 1.8 km from Super Kalafatis Beach. It is possible for guests to sit outside and enjoy the property grounds. Galaxidaki is for us the absolutely best place to stay in Galaxidi. It is placed strategically in the liveliest location of the town, yet secluded enough to have peace and serenity. The rooms on the second floor have a stunning view on the city, parts of the pier, the opposite forest and the mountains in the far. Moreover, the rooms are very nicely decorated and equiped, clean, tidy and cozy. It was an absolute pleasure spending time there. The host cared about every little detail and left in the rooms materials on what to see in Galaxidi and the surrounding area. She even left complementary welcome gifts, which is realy heartwarming. The host was also very throughtful of our privacy regarding to agree on times when to refresh the bed sheets. To conclude, being experienced travellers in Greece, I would confidently say that Galaxidaki is among the best accomodations in the country, and would be happy to spend time there again.

From the moment we walked in, the place felt warm and cosy. The host had thoughtfully provided timber for the fireplace, which made our stay even more relaxing. The bed was very comfortable, and the breakfast provisions were incredibly generous—plenty for lunch and dinner as well. The location was very central, just a short walk to all the shops and taverns. We were also thrilled to wake up to a snowy morning during spring—it made the experience even more magical. We’ll definitely be returning next time we’re in Arachova!

Although breakfast isn’t available, the villa has a kitchenette stocked with free pastries, coffee, tea, butter, jam. The owners make the stay even more enjoyable. We got to spend time with Dimitris and his family and it’s been amazing. They give you also tips for places to visit, where to eat at, the beaches to check out. For sure we’ll be coming back!
