Kostas, the owner, is the heart and soul of this experience. From the moment we arrived, he welcomed us with genuine warmth, personally guiding us to our impeccably clean and stylish suite. The room was a dream—featuring a supremely comfortable bed with luxurious linens, a modern bathroom with a fantastic shower, and thoughtful touches like a complimentary minibar and coffee machine. Kostas went above and beyond, taking the time to share the rich history of Syros, which brought the town’s stunning architecture to life. His passion for the island was infectious, making every story about Ermoupoli’s grand mansions and cultural landmarks feel like a personal gift. His recommendations were spot-on, leading us to unforgettable experiences. He pointed us to local treasures like the Apollo Theater and Saint Nicholas Church, both architectural marvels. But the real highlight was his restaurant suggestions—every place he recommended served mouthwatering dishes that showcased Syros’ culinary brilliance. Each meal was a celebration of authentic Greek cuisine, perfectly complementing the island’s vibrant food scene.

Boasting a sunny setting, it has a 3-level courtyard and offers air-conditioned rooms with free WiFi and a furnished balcony or terrace. Amazing location and beautiful place. Very clean and friendly staff. I loved the porch lounging areas outside as well. The owner is so nice and friendly and I felt so welcomed upon my arrival. I got plenty of tips and nice history of syros. When I was checking out I thought my ferry to depart syros was delayed but the owner helped me check on some websites how to track it and saw that the ferry was actually on time. I panicked thinking I'd miss the boat so he graciously offered me a ride on the scooter with my large luggage to the port, no questions asked and I arrived just in time. I had a lovely time here and I will definitely be back.

The staff were lovely and extremely helpful. Beaches, taxi driver and restaurant recommendations all great. The roof top courtyard was lovely, unfortunately it was too windy to sit out comfortably most days we were there. It was an easy 10 minute walk to the centre of town.

We had an amazing stay at Wind Tales. The property and the room were beautiful. Amazing view of the city with the peace and quiet of being in Ano Syros. Alexi was a great host with fantastic recommendations and truly did everything to ensure our stay in Syros was perfect both on the property and off. The morning breakfast made from local items, bread, cheese, jams, fruit eggs etc. was lovely. No doubt will be returning.

The owners could not do enough for us. Did our washing and Giannis picked us up from the ferry at 4.15am and the morning we left met us later at the port with our bags. Highly recommend

The cleaning service made you feel like everything was brand new every day. The owners who are brothers are attentive and care about their guests. I cannot thank them enough for helping me reach the appartment and accompanying me on departure. I am grateful for their closeness and availability to help If I go back to Syros I will definitely stay with them again.
