Csiga house is a jewel of a house. The owner was on site to greet me and could not have been nicer and accommodating. Csiga house is centrally located while it feels secluded due to its proximity to a lovely park. It is a lovely place to stay while visiting the city of Gyula.

Very beautiful example of a modern hotel tailored within the old architecture. The whole complex, with the gardens and the palace were incredibly renovated and the hotel part was clean, functional and tasteful. The restaurant served us delicious local food. All facilities brand new.

The property was well furnished inside along with a great outside area including the pool and communal garden space. The apartment was very spacious, light and modern. The air conditioning in each room was as brilliant too! We found the bed very comfortable and I loved the pillows! Great thinking of a quilt each too. Towels supplied, along with a hair dryer and some toiletries. The owner was very friendly and showed us around. They do have a small friendly dog in the outside area too but greeted at the gate and then that was it. Every where was very clean and well kept. Around 15/20 minute walk into the town centre. Absolute incredible find, we would 100% stay here again.

Everything is new, sparkling and efficient. The 3 course fixed menu dinner was tasty, plentiful and great value for money compared with restaurants we ate at. With the added bonus of a nice dining room and stimulating conversation.
