Upon my arrival, I discovered a teaching class in progress for some children, as the school was closed that day. This was a commendable initiative by Lina. I was warmly greeted by Alin, Febri, and the entire staff. They made me feel right at home. The common area, which also serves as the dining area and features an outdoor seating arrangement, is the best part. The room was small but very cozy at the same time. Very minimalist and beautiful. The washrooms are located outside separately and are impeccably clean. Plus - they have hot shower available all the time. They serve simple and delectable breakfasts in the mornings. I particularly enjoyed the mini pancakes; their taste was simply great. The ambiance of the place is incredibly inviting and homely. I was so impressed that I wanted to extend my stay for another night, but unfortunately, time constraints prevented me from doing so. Ruteng, a small town, was the perfect place for a walking tour. Febri, a kind-hearted guide, explained everything so well. They also arrange trips around and outside the city. Do inform them beforehand regarding your plans.

The homestay has family rooms. From the checkin we immediately felt like we were visiting and sttayed at our family friends. The property is really beautiful and has amazing position with a gorgeous view that can you enjoy at brakefast (brakefast was 10of10) on the teracce. The house is new and has everything you need for a comfy stay. Adi's lovely wife can also prepare delicious food for you.

The accommodation offers a housekeeping service and private check-in and check-out for guests. The staff is lovely and very helpful. The rooms are spacious and very clean. We loved that the location is a bit outside of Labuan Bajo, but you should be comfortable riding a scooter. The guesthouse doesn't offer bike rental, but the next rental was 2minutes away with very reasonable pricing. Wifi was strong and reliable. Best mosquito net we had in 3months SEA. We would definitely stay there again! A small shelf next to the sink would be great!

Outstanding service from Paulo and his family were very welcoming from the beginning and they offered to help in many ways (including booking the trip to the islands). We enjoyed the breakfast. Also, they can do laundry if needed and it was much appreciated. Room was comfortable, spacious and AC working as well as comfortable bed. Paulo made sure we were not missing anything and felt just like at home.

Each room comes with a terrace with mountain views and free WiFi. This was a highlight of our trip, beautiful people, tranquil setting and incredible food. Our host Jeff and his family were very welcoming, accommodating our very large and noisy family with an extra bed in our bedroom. His morning rice field walks are a legend and he takes amazing photos.
